Selecting a Person to Interview

The person I will be interviewing is my wife, Kellie. The timing will work out well with this choice because we are living together, allowing us for plenty of time for scheduling and allowing us time for rescheduling if anything unforeseen arises. I believe Monday Wednesday or Friday at around 7PM would work for conducting the interview after dinner in accordance with her school schedule.
Since we have known each other for only a few years, I think it would be very interesting to learn all about her start of her music interests and career, how she got to where she is now, nearly an orchestra teacher, and how her experiences in the past are going to form her teaching methodology and focus.
I believe Kellie would be perfect to interview because I actually started as a music major and have given private lessons myself and am very interested in her teaching method and how it differs from what I would expect both from her as a person and as a student.
The situational catalyst for this interview would be that she is right on the cusp of beginning her career after secondary education and is in a very big turning point in her life

Two places I could potentially conduct this interview would be either at our house or at her school.
I believe Monday Wednesday or Friday at around 7PM would work for conducting the interview after dinner in accordance with her school schedule.
My plans for documenting the interview are purely audio recording, more than likely through my iPhone, and in terms of physical documentation I will be taking notes concerning the physical aspects of the room as well as the setting if we do it at her school, and will be taking pictures on my iPhone of the settings for visual feedback.

Interview Ethics—Informed Consent

I will be working on an interview project for my school english class. I will be documenting the interview through a recording device; my phone if you are okay with that. I will use quotes or direct information from this interview that you allow me to use for this project. I will also be using your first name for this interview unless you are opposed to it, in which case I would make it anonymous. The people who would potentially read your words would be my professor or possibly my classmates. You are able to let me know if you are uncomfortable with any information being shared in person during the interview, and I will make sure it is not publicly known. If this seems doable then we can set up a formal time to conduct the interview. If at any time you feel that you would like to withdraw consent from any of these things mentioned, you are entirely free to do so. My name is Dillon Enge and my email is dillon.enge@gmail.com for open communication concerning this.
