         <title>Student&#39;s have their own individual folders with IEP goals stapled inside. They read them aloud at the start of each session so they know what their own learning target is and how they will achieve it. Learners read them again at the end of the session and reflect on achievement before exiting.</title>

         <title>Students read the learning target aloud and we &quot;unpack&quot; terms that may be confusing or require further explanation.  Students then know what the focus of the lesson will be and are able to check throughout to see if the target is being met.  Sometimes it requires additional time to meet.</title>

         <title>Students read the learning target in my classroom and breakdown the vocabulary within the target (if needed). By breaking down the vocabulary all together, students internalize the meaning of the learning target at a deeper level. At times, we discuss the purpose behind the learning target. The purpose really helps students focus in on why the learning target is important to understand. At the end of the lesson, students come back to the learning target via an exit ticket or some type of assessment. </title>
