Students need to take many classes to prepare for their college life and college entrance exams like SAT or ACT. Moreover, many schools require all of their students to receive a very strong liberal-art education during their entire high school. Even though some of the students like focusing on science, they are still required to take many humanities courses to fulfill their graduation requirements. Teachers give them assignments to write a research paper, but some of these assignments could be more practical for their future occupations and these assignments only focus on research theories. If some high school graduates are not going to college, they need to learn some practical stuff to help them start their working life early. We should adopt new policies in our school education system.
