Through the video, it is evident that teachers both consciously and unconsciously affect the students where every little thing counts and it is very important for the children to exemplify it and feel belonged. It gives a very positive impact on them as the reward, praises, constant caring and attention further indulges them into participating actively in the classroom as well as a positive growth in terms of emotional and mental. This approach is a very good element in the classroom.

I think it's the most fundamental theory when it comes to guiding students into accepting the learning process. The approaches that were conveyed are all aligned with how we should approach human beings, thus, even if we were to have the most complicated theory can be learned and executed, we can't actually do anything if we don't treat the students as normal human being. We need to always remember that, even they are learners, they will always be human by nature, and to shape a human, is to approach a human correctly.

Humanistic learning theory is important towards children in their learning process nowadays because as we can see that children engaged too much in social media and gadgets which makes them rarely socializing with their parents and peers. So, this theory will keep nurturing the humanistic behavior in the children to ensure that they still can communicate or act properly within the community as they should be.

In my opinion, humanistic teaching considers academic learning alongside students' emotional well-being, creativity, and social skills, promoting well-rounded development. Students are seen as capable of reaching their full potential, fostering a growth mindset and intrinsic motivation. Learning becomes more meaningful and relevant when students can connect with the material and personalize their learning experience.

However, the success of this approach heavily relies on the teacher's ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Some students may require more structure and guidance, and a solely humanistic approach might not provide enough for them to thrive. The personalized nature of this approach can be challenging to implement in large classroom settings.

Humanistic theory is a psychological perspective that emphasizes the importance of human values, agency, and personal growth. It focuses on understanding human beings as whole individuals, rather than reducing them to their behaviors, unconscious drives, or external stimuli. Applying humanistic theory in the classroom can have numerous benefits for both students and teachers. Firstly, humanistic theory recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each student. On the other hand, teachers can tailor their approach to meet the individual needs, interests, and learning styles of students, fostering a more personalized and engaging learning experience. Moreover, humanistic theory emphasizes positive relationships. For example, humanistic educators prioritize building positive relationships with students based on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. This supportive environment fosters a sense of belonging and encourages open communication, which can enhance student engagement and motivation.

In today's digital age, primary students are indeed surrounded by gadgets and often have shorter attention spans due to the constant influx of information. While the humanistic learning approach emphasizes individual growth, creativity, and self-directed learning, it can still be suitable for today's students. By integrating technology thoughtfully and encouraging hands-on, experiential activities, educators can harness the benefits of both humanistic principles and digital tools to engage students effectively. Balancing humanistic ideals with technological resources can foster a supportive learning environment that nurtures students' curiosity and autonomy while addressing their contemporary needs.

In my opinion, humanistic theory in the classroom is a powerful approach that prioritizes the holistic development of students, focusing on their emotional, social, and intellectual growth. From the video we can see one example activity that aligns with humanistic principles is fostering open dialogue and communication through chat sessions with students. This promotes a positive learning atmosphere where students feel heard, understood, and valued, ultimately increasing their motivation to actively participate and engage in learning activities. Another strategy is implementing a rewards system that acknowledges and celebrates students' achievements and efforts. The key is to tailor the rewards to the individual needs and preferences of the students, reinforcing positive behavior and fostering a supportive learning community.

At its core, education is about more than just passing on information. It is about nourishing individuals, encouraging growth, and instilling a desire to learn. By incorporating humanistic components into the classroom, educators foster a loving environment in which students feel respected, understood, and encouraged to reach their greatest potential. Furthermore, humanistic education fosters important life skills such as empathy, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence, preparing students to navigate the world's complexities with compassion and understanding.

Humanistic theory is suitable for today's classroom approach for several reasons. Firstly, it prioritizes the individual student's needs, fostering a student-centered learning environment that can enhance motivation and engagement. It promotes a holistic view of education, considering emotional and social aspects alongside academic ones, aligning with the broader understanding of a well-rounded education. Moreover, teachers should award the students based on their efforts too.

Example in classroom based on my opinion: Instead of prescribing a specific set of novels, the teacher provides a list of diverse literary works and allows each student to choose a book that resonates with their personal interests or experiences. Students are then encouraged to explore the themes, characters, and messages in a way that personally connects with them. Throught this students can reflect on their personal development and also teachers can evaluate and give feedback for students individually based on their weak points in specific subjects.

This theory focuses on student-centred learning which is vital in 21st century since children nowadays usually have a lower attention span due to the use of gadgets.

In my perspective, the humanistic learning theory resonates deeply with my philosophy as an educator. The emphasis on student-centered approaches, fostering self-actualization, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment aligns with my belief in nurturing the holistic development of each student.

I find the idea of giving students autonomy over their learning choices particularly powerful. Allowing them to set goals, make decisions, and explore topics of personal interest not only enhances motivation but also encourages a sense of responsibility and ownership in their educational journey.

Moreover, the focus on self-evaluation over traditional grading resonates with me. Assessing progress through self-reflection seems more aligned with the genuine pursuit of knowledge and personal growth, as opposed to relying solely on grades, which may encourage students to focus on performance rather than understanding.

Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment, where students feel physically, mentally, and emotionally secure, is paramount. This atmosphere enables effective learning by addressing students' basic needs and facilitating a positive emotional state, promoting engagement and curiosity.

In essence, embracing the humanistic learning theory in my teaching approach means valuing each student as an individual, fostering their autonomy, and recognizing the importance of emotional well-being in the learning process.
