Stone and clay House

Connection to early childhood Education:

Home is the basic need of human beings and when a child grows it is used to living in the home and simulating its life to what he sees. As basic in nature of a human being the desire of it is natural. The activity of making a house includes using many variable objects which could be the part of the house, this may include stones, clay wood and other objects that can simulate the interior of a house. These are all put together to prepare a house which is a very interesting activity for children to start building and learn how and what it takes to create things which he sees from his eyes. The more object they will include the more they can become beautiful. A house should be separate and surrounded by walls which can be created through clay or stones that it is to protect the internal objects.

Implication for Practice:

We took clay and stones and mod the clay with the help of water we used flat stones and wood board to make the wall and pore the clay to make it stick to gather like gum as it is used in the real life. This activity helps the children to understand how clay can be used as a sticking material between the other objects and how other material can be used to support each other (Fox & Schirrmacher, 2014).

We make a wall and then put a door-like structure in front of the house the inside and outside is prepared to look like a garden and a pathway with the use of crystal pales. We put stones inside the house and paint it to look like the furniture that can be used. Outside of the house are the trees that simulate the garden which was erected with the help of the clay pots.

Conclusion:

Natural materials are closer to human natures through which kids can learn to build to make to prepare and to decorate things they can learn how these objects can be attached together and how they are touched to make a new object, these all objects can be decorated and can be enhanced through the use of colours and add on materials on it. Objects can sound different when they are used differently. These all-natural activities expand their knowledge and understanding of nature in a playful environment.

References

Deiner, P., 2012. Inclusive Early Childhood Education: Development, Resources, and Practice. s.l.:Cengage Learning.

File, N., Mueller, J.
Sound of a rumbling steel Glass

Connection to early childhood Education:

The rumbling sound produced from the glass can help the children to understand and learn how things make sounds and how they can be touched differently so to sound differently and how they react when they are thrown or when they are rotated in a specific way, these sound make them familiar with the motions of the object and the different sound an object can make through moving differently. For example, the throwing sound of the same glass is different from the rumbling sound that it makes while rotating (Deiner, 2012).

Implication for Practice:

We took a steel glass and just moved the glass in the circular direction to make the sound that feels catchy for the kids and this to be repeated by the children if they can move the glass in a similar specific way. They will try to make sounds like the same one but may or may not get the success but that will let them try to make different sounds and to understand that objects can react differently when they are touched differently.

Clay Face

Connection to early childhood Education:

The interactions of clay and kid are never predicted since practice ecologies are constantly in the process of developing. Movements are not consciously executed; rather, they occur spontaneously. Clay reacts to the motions of the youngsters who are working with it. Nonetheless, it may be stubborn and refuses to remain in one form for long periods of time. It is, however, hard to foresee the occurrence of such resistances. Clay moves around the studio in sync with the motions of the children's bodies. Because of its malleability and flexibility, it necessitates modification in the environment. (File, et al., 2017)

Putting a thumb in the clay to make a bump is a natural phenomenon with the clay it bends its self in the shape we want and can make many faces and artifacts with various other things which can be used to decorate the object.

Implication for Practice:

I pore more water in the clay and fold it to make it soft and spread it like a tortilla added more water to make it smooth put some crystal balls on it to look like a face and push it to make a smiley face, the push make a dent on the surface and shaped it as a nose and a mouth. The clay can take any shape while touching which is playful but also very interesting to learn making objects and to increase skills and knowledge to make new faces and new shapes which is just waiting for a weight of a thumb. I than color the face with amazing color which added a finishing touch and can be interesting for children of how they can enhance their objects through simple colors.

Clay Chocolate Bar

Connection to early childhood Education:

Clay has the ability to slow down the pace of work in the studio. It allows youngsters to follow its surprising motions as it interacts with various objects such as shoes, pockets, canvas, the floor, hands, mittens, and the air. The production that is now taking on in the dance-clay ecosystem has taken on a life of its own (Pacini-Ketchabaw, et al., 2016).

The practices of happy connecting, of caring, and of forming connections for a new world are essential for achieving this. Care has been seized for the most part in early childhood education, transforming work with young children into emotional labor that is intrinsic to the capitalist structure (Schulte, 2018). Chocolates are every kid’sfavorites, and a chocolate bar shapes always remind them of a pleasing eating experience, making this shape is a learning they can learn how they can also shape things in the same way they see in the world.

Implication for Practice:

Added water in the clay to make it smooth and flat it with the help of the scale and weight then put some more water to make the surface silky and divide it with the help of the ruler in the shape of blocks it helps to learn children that they can use surrounding objects to shape the things and clay has a capacity to take the shape of anything an could look like a chocolate bar but cannot taste like it. This could also be enhanced with wrapping it in some wrapping sheet, glowing so it could feel like a chocolate which needs to be opened to use it.

Connection to early childhood education:

Pine Cones are beautifully shaped natural material which has a shape of tree or an animal it can be seen like a dinosaur hatch back or can seems like a fish or an iguana. With this amazing shape and the ability to explore its shape children can learn to explore where it is starting and where it ends how the Pine can go in and how it can be yield through the small holes. Pine can be used with different other natural materials to learn the shape of it which can be embossed if used with clay the pine can leave its texture on clay which could create a learning of how its shape can be drawn on anything else.Or it can simply be painted and kids can explore how paint can simply add a more life and considered as a force of life to an object (Pacini-Ketchabaw, et al., 2016).

Implication for practice:

Pine cones can be an amazing artifact to color and to enroll with the sand or with clay, I took a Pine cone and cleans it to bring its purest color than I poured some watercolor which soaked the color inside out which looks no natural but an amazing new thing. Pouring some glitter power added more beauty in it which give a scene of how it can be colored and can expand the imagination of different methods can be used to color difficult object where the paint brush cannot reach. Glitzing it make an experience more better of how the colors can be enhanced through adding some more things except for the colors. This could be other things as well which could be clay or any stick which can be attached to it to add more usability.

Connection to early childhood Education:

Planting is an activity which includes many stages from, to decorate a plant clay can be used as an object to mold and prepare a flower pot, teaching a child to build object to decorate and to play with nature and learn how they can mold the clay to something useful which can hold a plant in it (Pacini-Ketchabaw, et al., 2016). As a sand stones and pebbles are used to make the plant stand. It can be taught how clay can shape itself to hold object. The more the amount of clay it can built a better thick wall with little water so not to melt it off. The right amount of mixtures to be used to build each object that has its own capacity. It is a fun making a pot with clay which requires melting mixing and squeeze the clay to make an object like a pot.

Implication for Practice:

We take clay and pour some water to make it smooth and soft than put it on a surface to shape it like a bowl, we first spread it and put a bowl like object in it and past the spreader clay to shape the walls. Than we used the pebbles and stones to use as a supporting material these all natural things enhances the skills to build that is useful with the use of other objects and how other objects has helped in making the walls of the pot. The pot is then filled with the plant with leaves and flower in it which looks like an amazing flower pot. It can be filled with water to simulate planting the pot.

Clay Plant

Introduction:

Learning from natural materials are closer to the nature of human beings especially Clay and stones aid in the development of both general and fine motor abilities, including those of the hands and fingers, by improving eye-hand coordination. Children who colour, cut, and write in a classroom will benefit from this since it improves their dexterity. Playing with clay maybe both energizing and relaxing at the same time. In this assignment, we have made a few objects and related it with early age learning and its implications.

Connection to early childhood Education:

Clay necessitates a unique response in each varied and equally dynamic ecosystem. It is the idea of ecology that encompasses the extreme uniqueness of clay as well as its abilities. It allows us to not only work with clay in its natural environment, but also to think about clay's relationship with a certain environment. Clay is soil, and soil needs the care and feeding of plants. Taking clay from the river and giving it to youngsters should be done with caution, according to the guidelines. Children needs to make different objects using the clay to expand their imaginary thinking regarding the creativity and to convert their brain thoughts in to feeling and in physical. Putting together different objects can create objects which seems like they have seen in their life(Odegard, 2019).

Implication for Practice:

We pour water in the clay and make it soft so we can make a stem of a plant through it. It is a natural material so we decided to take some leaves from the plan and put it together to look it like a plant, this activity teaches the children to mold the clay as per their will and can make objects they feel lovely through shaping it with the help of other objects that we did with the plant we used scale and needles to shape the petal and put leaves together. The plant is than colored with matching colors as if it is real or can use the imaginary colors, this will allow the children to use their imagination to change the objects which they see in nature.
