I woke up this morning and could not believe what I saw. The laboratory was a mess. Papers were on the floor, strange smoke was in the air, and İlber Ortaylı, the scientist, was covered in a mix of yogurt and chili sauce. Sophie was fixing her glasses, and Ethan was pressing buttons on a strange watch.

“What happened here?” I asked, rubbing my eyes.

İlber Ortaylı sighed. “It was an experiment about agriculture. We wanted to make plants grow faster.” He pointed at a bubbling container. “But something went wrong. Ethan’s time machine had a problem.”

Ethan groaned. “Yes, and now there is a problem in time. Past and future are mixed.”

I looked around and saw something even stranger. There was a big amount of çiğ köfte on the table—too much for one room. “And where did all this come from?”

Sophie pushed her glasses up. “We brought a food trend from the future. In 2090, çiğ köfte is the most popular food in the world.”

Then, a bright light appeared in the air. A robotic voice said, “Warning: Cause and effect problem detected.”

Ethan sighed. “Great. We need to fix this before people in the future stop eating çiğ köfte.”

İlber Ortaylı smiled, cleaning his coat. “Let’s get up and solve this problem.”

In a luxurious restaurant in Japan, Jake, a famous chef, was preparing a special dish for Taylor Swift, who had just arrived for dinner. The entire staff was excited, except for Liam, a mischievous waiter, who saw this as the perfect opportunity for fun. He kept sneaking bites from plates, causing delays.

At a corner table, Oscar, a shy musician, sat with his guitar, unsure if he should play. His dream was to impress Taylor, but doubt clouded his mind.

Unnoticed by most, Mila, a robot designed to understand human emotions, observed everything. Mila had been programmed to analyze emotions, but it struggled with the gray area where logic failed to explain feelings.

As Taylor entered, the atmosphere shifted. Her presence had an effect on everyone excitement, nervousness, admiration. Oscar hesitated, unsure if he should play. Jake felt pressure to impress. Liam, however, saw an opportunity for more mischief.

Mila analyzed the situation. The cause of emotions was complex. Taylor’s fame inspired awe, but also fear of failure. Confidence and doubt were opposites, yet intertwined.

Taylor noticed Oscar and smiled. “Play something,” she encouraged. His hands trembled, but as he strummed, his attitude changed. Confidence replaced fear. The effect was magical.

Jake, inspired, created a new dish. Liam, for once, behaved. Mila, for the first time, seemed to feel something though she couldn’t name it.

Perhaps emotions didn’t need definitions. Perhaps, in the gray area, they simply existed.

The Mysterious Çiğ Köfte Tree

I woke up this morning and could not believe what I saw. Something was wrong. I was supposed to wake up in the future, but instead, I found myself in the present. My time-travel mission had failed. Panic filled my mind as I searched for my travel companion, Yusuf Güney.

When I finally found him, he seemed just as confused as I was. “This is bad,” I muttered. We needed to prove our story, but people didn’t believe us. Yusuf tried to explain that he had only astral traveled back to his own timeline, but that just made things worse.

“We need proof,” someone said. “Show us something from the future.”

That was when I remembered the çiğ köfte tree. In the future, I had seen a tree that grew çiğ köfte instead of fruit. If we could recreate it, we could prove we were telling the truth. But we couldn’t do it alone.

We sought out three experts:

Sophie, a brilliant scientist who specialized in experiments,

Jake, a famous chef, and

İlber Ortaylı, a respected scientist with vast knowledge.

With their help, we worked tirelessly to create the first-ever çiğ köfte seed. It wasn’t easy. Sophie ran multiple experiments, testing different methods. Jake worked on the right quantity of ingredients. İlber Ortaylı used his knowledge of agriculture to find the best way to make the seed grow.

After many failed attempts, we finally did it! The first çiğ köfte tree grew before our eyes. The people gasped in shock. We had proven ourselves.

But as I looked at the tree, another thought crossed my mind—if I had woken up in the wrong timeline, how would I ever get back to my own time?
