What did you like?

Just to mention that this is my third year using digital courses with my students.

Personally I love using them, I like the scaffolding of learning and the wide variety of the activities.

I like too that they cover all the activities and skills (written and spoken reception and production, interaction and mediation)

I like that they relate to subjects that are really appealing such as climate, travelling, Hightech...etc.

What didn't you like?

Three things I don't like about the courses,

first, sometimes students get lost and they don't know how to continue from the point they left, I mean after they close the device and go back to it later (there is no sign to lead them where to continue)

The other thing I don't like it about them as a teacher that I always face problems with tracing the kids work, so many times happened that students worked on units and it didn't show and they have to do them over and over again.

and finally the recording thing, it doesn't work most of the time.

Will you use these courses/ Why/ Why not?

I did use them for three years now, and I will use them this year, only I may adapt using them with part of the class, cause we all now it is a learning style and not all of us are individual learning so I will see where I can provide some guidance in class.

In fact I think I used them so much that I knew so much about them, even how to change the units themselves, adding, adapting, removing and hiding, specifying. I think they are built in way that one can self-learn everything about it.

I still have some difficulty dealing with popup problems and issues that are related to mails and permissions. I even doubt if I will do a course with teachers on AI just because I really don't know how to help them if they faced these problems with mails, permissions and validation stuff.

I like a lot opening activities, I will use them for sure and I wrote about this in my personal blog.

I like all the tools also, but I think I have to work on one tool and learn it thoroughly because that is right sometime less is more, and teachers as well as students are swamped with so many digital tools and in a way we lose control at some points.

Though Canva is really fascinating, I will focus my learning more on Padlet, cause it is easier to learn and found it more friendly to use and learn for teachers and students.
