The White Court

A court that puts arcane/magic users on trial (cases involving magic). Acts outside established society.

 

Has existed for longer than any established society. ”Recruits” their member among common people at a young age, and teach them their ways.

 

Besides common languages they speak their own language – but it’s not a secret language, more like what we consider the ”original” language, which we think all should be able to speak.

 

Group Rule 1: All members have experienced something that made them loose faith in established society. 

Group Rule 2: We always consider ourself to be the supreme authority, and as such, has no interest in supporting the established authorities. 

World Rule 1: The air has been polluted, either by magic or as a consequence of a cataclysmic event. Nobody is able to go out from their shelter for long periods of time.

A group of four people have found shelter in an abandoned Netto store, in which the air is clean. Both the store manager and his partner/queen acts as the rulers of the store. 

Outside of the store people who are not able to find refuge are quickly dying and animals are turning into mutated creatures. No one has yet understood the cause of the pollution, and how it works.  

Our characters are on the road/path to a great summit being held at (a space station/neutral site?) to end the (10/30/100 year) war. The greatest leaders of both sides are meeting to arrange a peace treaty that will end the bloodshed. Each character strive for a different end result of this peace treaty.

Some people have magic, others do not.

Technology exist like before, is primarily used without magic.

Tension is caused because the introduction of magic redistributes power.

Magic is revealed (amplified) through the uncovering of an artefact under the polar ice caps.

The Nomads of Nowherw is a mysterious magic society with travel abilities. We are a species of part human-hybrid-nomads with no permanent home. We trust our common sense and put our faith in our tech-magic, which we will use to improve the Danish society and its people that have been divided according to their species.

We have a shared consciousness which is unaccessible by nonmembers/others

Anyone that has a core believe of an old established way of using magic. We oppose this view since we believe that a peaceful society can only be created, if new forms of magic use is accepted and shared among users a non-users of magic. Anyone whose main objective is to maintain the old excluding ways of using magic will see us as a threat since we travel to spread a message of a new way of using magic that will benefit all the inhabitants of this new established world. Our opposers will of course try to fight our agenda, tell their followers to stay away from us and lastly tell everyone else that no new unified way of using magic is possible.

We have noticed you with great admiration. Your understanding of magic is a true testament to the reality of our current situation: Established society need to understand what capabilities some of us have, and how we can improve our world together.

However, established society cannot yet understand what consequences these abilities may have, and is in no way capable of controlling those, who will use their power for personal gain.

We have for many years sought to create a balance in the world, where we all live without fear of that which we cannot control.

We believe that by working together, we can insure a peaceful and orderly transition to at society, where those with special powers, and those without, can live together.

We offer you the third seat in our court. Where you will take part in passing the necessary judgment on those, who does not seek a future where peace reigns.
