I am an Arizona native, who hales from the West Valley (Hello Avondale!) I'm a proud Arizona State University Alumn (Go Devils!). I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computational Mathematical Sciences. When I'm not in the midst of scholarly pursuits, I enjoy reading, knitting, yoga, hanging out with family & friends and playing with my two favorite boys, my pets; my Shih Tzu, Captain Jack and my Nebelung, Sherlock.

Why I Want To Teach

I first became interested in teaching when I was finishing up my degree at ASU. I had actively volunteered at a nearby elementary school. Working with the students, helping them learn and watching them grow, I had decided that an educational setting was where I belonged. Which is how I've ended up here, part of Rio Salado's Post-Bac Teacher Prep program. I'm in the Secondary Education program, I'm aiming to teach High School Mathematics.
