Once upon a time in a land not far away at all there was a family of cheese-its that wanted nothing more than to leave the supermarket.  They had moved around quite a bit in the past and now wished that they could settle down in a roomy pantry with a safe neighborhood.  However they didn't seem to grasp the concept that to move into a pantry is to be bought with the intention of being eaten, so if they were sold then they would inevitably die.  The cheese-it family didn’t miss their old factory home so they thought that leaving their shelf flat would be the same.  They even planned out how they could send their Christmas cards out to their old neighbors in aisles 3 and 4.  Mr. Cheese-it one day announced that they had found a pantry which he thought would do nicely for his family, so they all cheered and partied the night away until it was the big day, the day they would leave their shelf.  This was a sentimental time for them unlike when they left their old mobile home, but then again they had only lived there for two days, which was nothing like the three years they had spent on this self (they had gotten their box date change four times).  Though they would miss their self flat they knew that the pantry they were moving to would be a nice change of scenery and so they left with no regrets...yet.

It was a bright and beautiful day the morning when the cheese-it family was bagged up by the grubby fingered grocery bagger who reaked of axe body spray which somehow could not mask the aroma of five showerless days.  The day was much much brighter than that poor souls future.  The cheese-its were so excited to see their new home that they didn’t care that the child carrying the bag they were in was dragging it on the the ground.  Causing some serious tears to form in the bag and also damaging their box mildly. Oh what an amazing day it was indeed the Cheese-its would finally come to terms with reality and figure out that their home was not all that it was cracked up to be.

Upon arrival they noticed that this neighborhood was crammed with chips, chocolate, and ramen noodles.  “Wow, this pantry is filled to the brim with other foods.  How lucky for us now we can make loads of friends!”Mr. Cheese-it exclaimed most enthusiastically.  The Cheese-its soon became very popular and had lots of friends, but they started to notice that the pantry wasn’t as full as it had been when they first arrived, some of their friends had gone on vacation and never came back.  It started to get out of hand when Tommy Cheese-it and Annie, Joe, and Fred Cheese-it didn’t show up for dinner that night either.  Mrs. Cheese-it searched and searched the whole pantry but her children were gone she then cried salty tears and ran back to the box where she found that now Mr. Cheese-it along with Tilly, Milly, Tess, and Ryan Cheese-it were gone too.  Now Mrs. Cheese-it started to worried for the wellbeing of her family.  Mrs. Cheese-it didn’t know what to do so she hid with what was left of her family in the very back of the pantry and it wasn’t until next spring that they were found and thrown away.
