_{With a gregorian style, Putney Bridge was designed by Robert Adams in 1769 and completed in 1774. It crosses the Avon River in the city of Bath. Its name is due to the fact that the bridge used to connect the city to the land of the Putney family, the one whho wanted to create the bridge. Moreover, it is one of the four bridges in the world which has shops on it. To give you another anecdote, it was also the setting for Javert's suicide in the 2012 adaptation of Les Misérables.
