         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition: </strong>Practices, beliefs, and theories that people in the past thought were accurate. Some people today still think that these ancient ways are still superior to modern science.<br><br><strong>Connection:</strong> The practice of sati ( Widow Burning) is a ancient Hindu custom where a widow would kill themselves by throwing herself onto her husbands funeral pyre. At this time widows believed that they had nothing else to live for and therefore should kill themselves after their husbands death. The last recorded sati was in 2008, but the practice was made illegal in the late 1800s.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition: </strong>Emotional connection is when we let our feelings and emotions cloud any logical thoughts or judgements. We believe in something because our emotions are telling us to believe in it.<br><br><strong>Connection: </strong>It's not uncommon for people, especially the elderly and the vulnerable, to be tricked into giving psychics thousands of dollars. The psychics use emotional connections to trick these people, the most common way this is done is saying that a loved one that has passed over said that they needed to give X amount of money.</div>]]></description>
