My full name is Benjamin Thomas Leybourne Aldridge and I am originally from Brisbane, Australia. I have 3 sisters one older one younger and one is my twin. When I was 4 my parents moved to Oakland, California for my Dad's work.

When I went through middle school and high school in California I ended up joining a robotics team and started going to competitions with First Tech Challenge. It sparked a fascination in engineering for me which caused me to start Fort Lewis as a engineering major(has been changed since).

Later In Highschool I joined the mountain biking team and started going to races. Unfortunately Covid happened and cancelled all the races but Mountain Biking is a hobby I practice to this day.

As I started going to college I started getting more involved in on campus clubs and events such as SUP(student union productions) the Smash Brothers Team, And I plan on trying Social Dance class.

Recently for personal reasons I decided to take a year off and work up at purgatory for a winter. I enjoyed my time working there a lot and I got way better at skiing while I worked there. I still live in apartments right by purgatory and I intend on working there while doing school.

Another of my hobbies is kendama. As pictured above a kendama is a little toy where you can do several different tricks. I try to play with it whenever I get a little free time and I've gotten pretty good at it.

This year I have come back as an adventure education major and I am super happy to be back in college. I still am very unsure of what type of career I want after I'm done with college but I think that's okay as long as I enjoy my time here. Durango has become my new home and I enjoy being here nonetheless.
