He either couldn't remember where they went or wouldn't enjoy putting them away. Changing the physical environment would be beneficial because I can add pictures or symbols on shelves and containers to help the child see where things go. I think that for this child an environmental support could be beneficial. For example they struggle to clean up when it is time. An environmental support could be to use an instrument to get their attention before giving directions and then following that by playing/ singing a song that repeatedly tells them what we are doing.
