My top three concept maps were the Intro to Human Development, Early Childhood, and Adolescence entries. The intro was meaningful because I was able to connect course themes to the work I do outside of class, which made the content feel immediately relevant. I especially enjoyed the Early Childhood map because I found the colors and visual style engaging, and the material itself helped me better understand a developmental stage I hadn’t previously focused on. The Adolescent concept map stood out the most—it was deeply relatable, not only because I have three brothers currently going through this stage, but because I work closely with teens in my current job. Looking back on all the maps as a collection, I can see how much my understanding of the human lifespan has expanded. What started as isolated phases now feel like interconnected chapters in a much larger story.
