Lesson objectives: Analyze and evaluate sources related to contemporary institutions collections of human remains; utilize evidence from sources to support a claim that responds to the essential question, Is justice* possible for the humans whose remains are in museum collections?; incorporate in-text citations using MLA format.

*In an earlier class students wrote a class definition of justice: Justice is deciding a fair punishment or reparation for actions deemed as unacceptable by society’s standards.

This was a quick lesson I put together in February when a student came in and said, "Are we going to talk about Sora? We have to talk about Sora in this class!" My students are all impressed with the capabilities of Generative AI, but are also very aware of the power and potential dangers if this new technology is not used responsibly.
