         <description><![CDATA[<div>Athena had a huge role in the odyssey because she advised and helped odysseus throughout the whole odyssey.&nbsp; Cersei's role in the story was helpful but also not. She helped him by giving him the magic herb but she also negatively affected him by turning his men into pigs.&nbsp; "gives advice on how to avoid the dangers he will face" (Homer 673).He tells him to not eat Helios cows and warns him. "You'll find the grazing herds of helios by whom all things are seen" (homer 641).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When Odysseus enters the land of the dead he soon has to make offerings of cows and also a black lamb which is the prized possession in his herd. The souls of the dead and also the gods. He see's his mother, which he had no knowledge of her death until she visited him there. But he also soon see's Teiresias. He tells Odysseus that his future will be full of hardships, but he will make it home to Ithaca, also that soon his adventure will lead him to Helios island, and he will see his cattle grazing in the field and not to kill them. Odysseus thanks him for telling him his destiny and continues his journey to Helios island where the cattle graze.</div>]]></description>

An example of intelligence is how he figured out that putting wax in his men's ears would save them from the sirens song. An  example of  bravery is how he had the balls to walk up to the cyclops and have a conversation with him. he displayed Leadership by taking responsibility for his men and telling them what would happen if they ate the sun god's cattle.</div>]]></description>
