Recently, my boyfriend and I have been watching breaking bad together and it has quickly become one of my favorite tv shows of all time. The acting, plot, theme, and symbolism are all incredible. The storyline is always captivating and never gets boring. We are almost done with the show and have all of our predictions, so I can't wait to see how it unfolds in the end and if we were right or wrong. If anyone in this class has not watched it I encourage you to do so. I feel like this show can be enjoyed by anyone no matter your preferred subject of tv show.

Community, as in Community College. I had always seen this show on my Netflix recommended page but was never willing to give it a shot, until now. I watch it every night to fall asleep, that could be good or bad. My favorite character is Abed he's socially awkward but so intelligent. I highly recommend!

I have a golden retriever named Cooper! He's on the left. His brother Henry is on the right and they have playdates quite often. I love to take them hiking, to the beach, and to Petsmart for baths. They're from the same litter and both are 2 years old. Cooper and Henry are inseparable when they're together and they play nonstop for hours on end. Cooper comes home from Henry's house totally wiped out needing an extra long nap. They're both so adorable and I love them to pieces.

I was wondering about the internet sunday night and found a live version of this song I really love. All the vocals layered gives me life. Especially this line at the very beginning:

Community is also one of my favorite TV shows, and I have been re-re-re-re-re-watching it recently. For those of you that have never had the pleasure of seeing Community, the characters, Abed and Troy, build a massive pillow/blanket war throughout the Community College campus, Greendale. Eventually, there is an argument over how the fort should be build that descends into chaos. Subsequently, since watching I've really wanted to build a pillow and blanket fort. I also might be saving four boxes from my recent move to add to the fort.

Thus far I think I've been pretty skeptical about the idea that AI will be taking over anytime soon. I mean have you every tried interacting with Siri or any of those digital assistants? Yeah so you see what I mean then.
But with this video of art entirely generated by AI, I realize it might be time for us humans to throw in the towel, because art was kinda the last thing we humans had that the robots could never replace us with. And now I'm pretty sure we've finally lost that too.

Here's a (live music) film by one of my absolute favorite artists, Moses Sumney. The film features a range of Sumney's work accompanied by a live orchestra and the scenery of Appalachia. Sumney's music brings me to tears not just because much of his work is about heart wrenching subjects, but their performance is just jaw dropping and stunning in so many ways. You will be blown away by even watching just a couple of the songs featured in this film, or checking Moses Sumney out separately. I highly recommend their work, and if you ever get the chance to see them live, you absolute should.

Every third thursday of the month there is free admission to the museum on state street. I went last week and my favorite piece was this painting of the Yosemite Valley in 1865! I have grown to appreciate art preservation and this really caught my eye. I could have stayed there forever thinking about what it must have been like before Yosemite was a national park.

My favorite (especially nonfiction) book I've ever read is "Three Women" by Lisa Taddeo. It follows the stories of three women and their senses of desire and longing. I love this book because it's candid about some of the most vulnerable parts of being a person, and it's so relatable and touching in that way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good book in general, and especially for a beautiful book to change your perspective and heart. This is an article by the New Yorker about this book that I love so much.

This past summer I went to go visit family in Japan. I was able to stay in Tokyo, with my cousin for a few days. This day specifically was extremely hot and humid and we decided to go to a Shiba Inu cafe. Animal cafes are quite a popular thing over there. This was my first time going to one. Although it was fun it was a just a one time thing for me, I personally don't think it was worth the wait in line but it was a fun touristy thing to do.

My favorite novel character of all time is actually a side character is Hagrid from Harry Potter. His Character is authentic, and he has good moral of character who looks after all the children at hodworts on film and off. He teaches the children how to be a good deceit human being and he shows love and understanding to everyone in the most panicking situations he is in real life a mentor and a good friend especially to Ron, Hermoine, and Harry. Him has such a deep emotion if you watch the first few movies that really shows what Hagrid means to the kids. To me he's what makes harry potter franchise so special his role for the kids like a godfather who looks out and guides them through an epic quest.

I am a big fan of soccer and am super excited for the world cup which is the most viewed sporting event in the world drawing in almost 1 billion viewers. Thw world cup only happens once every four years so when the time comes it creates big buzz among sports fans. I will actually be going to Qatar to watch a world cup game in person!

I watched this movie the first time a little over a year ago and it's still one of my favorites. I just rewatched it the other day and I fell in love with it again. It's the perfect movie to watch before bed or when you crave a chill movie, as it's pretty quiet and the soundtrack is very relaxing. If you like any of the Wes Anderson movies, you'll probably like this one too. I definitely recommend!

So recently I have been loving watching this channel on youtube called Ras Kitchen. Matthew is man who lived in America and decided to take a surfing trip down to Jamaica, along the way he met a man named Mokko who changed his life forever. He came to visit from a short trip and ended up never leaving. He now lives with Mokko in the Blue mountains of Jamacia. He documents their rural, traditional life style and exposes the beautiful life that they live off the grid. Mokko is an amazing chef and cooks traditional foods 'Rasta' style. His videos are very diverse and I love this unique way of life that they live. It's very interesting and if you see this post, I hope you give some of their videos a watch, you might be shocked. Their community is so close with each other and I've never met anyone like Mokko, such a kind, genuine soul.

This is a compilation from one of my favorite sitcom comedies, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. While the first couple seasons are a bit too racy, even for the producers and lead actor’s now, I think a lot about the show still holds up. It’s still making seasons that are just as funny as the old seasons. Each character is a piece of s**t, and instead of learning from their mistakes, they get progressively worse due to their own ignorance and unwillingness to change. One of my favorite gimmicks of the show is the jokes or problems that arise from Charlie’s illiteracy. I was watching the compilation last week, and saw it in my YouTube history so voila, here ya go.

It's just really funny and well made, especially if you're also an empath.

I've been a huge fan of Game of Thrones for the longest time, and the prequel series has been out for a few weeks now and it is REALLY GOOD. It's a little bit slower paced than the original, but the acting, set design, writing, directing and all of the above are absolutely perfect. I'm so glad they redeemed themselves after season 8 of the original show, which definitely fell flat in my book.

Hocus Pocus has always been a family tradition of mine since it came out. I love the sarcasm and corny way they represented the witches. Witches have always been a huge thing for me and this movie gave me some humor in Salem Massachusetts to offset the horrible history behind witches.
