This year has been my first year I’ve done it and so far it has been so good! It has been so encouraging to work with the kids and to form relationships with them. God’s love is so evident within the camp and it’s so promising to see them paying attention during the talks and the memory verses.

Our theme this week has been “God is Love” a message that we felt was so needed in the community of Millburn. This week we have seen time after time evidence of God working in the lives of the children and young people. They have been so curious and so enthusiastic about all we have had to share with them. As a team God has taught us so much as individuals and as a collective about his Love in ways we maybe didn’t anticipate. It’s been so clear that God has been working and still is working in the community of Millburn.

It has been an incredible week so far I have loved getting to know the team and building relationships with the kids. It is amazing to see how God works through everyone. I have personally been so encouraged with the number of kids that come to each of the sessions. I have also loved hearing them begin to say the memory verse by themselves and starting asking questions about it. Impact millburn had been a privilege to be apart of!

The team this week have been absolutely fantastic!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better team. They have taken initiative and stepped up and grown so much over the week. The way they have acted this week has been a huge testimony of God’s Love and has had a profound impact on the teens and children. Each and every team member has used their gifts and talents this week to glorify God and to share the Good news. Forever Grateful!!

One day to go and what a week it’s been! We took as our theme Changed Lives and have looked at characters from the Bible whose lives changed when they met Jesus. We have been encouraging campers and leaders alike to BeReal for God.
Weather just turned. Praying for wind and rain to ease!

Portstewart CSSM

What an encouraging start we have had to Portstewart CSSM! What a blessing to have so many children show up excited to learn all about our saviour and truly consider ‘who is Jesus’ to them. The team has so much enthusiasm and heart to show these children how much they love Jesus and how much Jesus loves them. In our devotion today we considered how Jesus lavishes us with love and wisdom and we are striving to also love these kids through our words and actions. We have seen God’s sovereignty over this week through the weather, conversations with families and many answered prayers. A prayer point would be for fruitful conversations within small groups in all sections. We have seen an improvement in this as relationships build but as we approach the end of our first week, we would love to leave these children with a challenge. Thank you to all the churches, SUNI, Our team leaders (Jonny, AJ and Luke) and everyone who has continuously prayed for Portstewart CSSM!

Unbelievable week, so much fun, fantastic weather, plenty of sleep. Small groups were fantastic, never met a group of lads who talk so openly and left themselves so venerable after such a short space of time!

Amazing week! Loved every moment of it. Would definitely recommend. Superb, fun activities which everyone loved. Never a dull moment!! Both campers and leaders were engaging and full of energy. The talks were so encouraging and helpful. This backed by discussion groups helped both leaders and campers alike to grow in their faith. Will be back next year!!!

What can I say. WOW! What an amazing week of fun-filled activities that have TRULY changed my life. The leaders and YMCA staff are amazing!!! Highly recommend to all adventure junkies!

We had a returning Turtle (age 8-9) this year with learning disabilities.
Last year her mother told us she was a “flight risk” and would need a one-to-one.
I was speaking to her mum today after the first week of CSSM and was telling her how well behaved she was and how she was so engaged and so good about telling the leaders when she wanted to go to the toilet and that she wanted a leader to take her out to her mum at home time. Her mum was very grateful, and said that there aren’t many places she would send her child but she said the teaching we were giving her child is next to none and she had every confidence in us and our section to look after her daughter. She also said she was so happy that we could see a difference in her this year and thanked us because her child loves CSSM so much and she’s so glad she’s able to attend.

the most incredible week with an even more incredible team - we saw young people praising, worshiping and falling in love with jesus from every age group + are privileged to have played a small role in revealing Christ to them! we did it everything from small groups, story time, memory verse and crazy praise songs and gave God all the glory while doing it!

A amazing week where God was visibly moving - two girls in my older primary small group asked how to become Christians! We prayed together with another leader and they were beaming the entire time - when we rejoined the larger group they danced their hearts out to Ask Seek Knock!

The most amazing week seeing God move in Loughbrickland and Banbridge area. Gods presence was so incredibly near to us and we felt so empowered each day to go out as His disciples and explain the gospel to each of the kids. Many children across all the different age groups heard they gospel, accepted it and began their walk with God. It was a true blessing to have been able to see their smiles and joy when receiving their own Bible for the first time.

God is truly moving in that town and as a team, we have understood the true importance of praying with big expectations. We no longer want to continue to place God in a small box but yet make sure to pray with full belief that our strong, mighty and powerful God will do it.

A week of extreme activities, memory making, fruitful conversations, helpful teaching from Hebrews 10:19-25, and learning what an ‘Unshakeable’ life with Jesus looks like. We are deeply thankful for joyful and receptive campers, who gave camp their all. We pray that they would all ‘hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who has promised is faithful’ and may they ‘spur each other on toward love and good deeds’ in their day and generation!

My daughter didn't stop talking about camp from when she got into the car until she went to bed 😂
Safe to say that she had a really brilliant week, loved the activities and has said she really enjoyed the talks and devotions from the leaders.

I can't put into words the joy of seeing all the little clips of camp this week. Thank you so much to you and all the team for an incredible week. I so, so appreciate all the hard work and prayer that has gone into everything. It is so evident that God has been at the centre of everything! Praying for a blessed last morning and that wee lives will truly know His unshakeable love for them!

I’m sure you’ll be glad to not have 56 campers to get to sleep tonight!! The boys talked the whole way home about camp and all the class activities, food and the amazing time they had!! I had a great time at Millisle CSSM helping to spread God’s word. It was incredible seeing a large group of teens all give their testimonies on the beach on our final session, some of those teens had only became Christians in the weeks beforehand from other CSSM’s such as Portavogie. The churches and locations were all very useful for us and the local community that we bumped into were very nice.

The most encouraging night on one of the most encouraging weeks of my life. We saw 7 children and teens give their lives to the Lord tonight after hearing the gospel every day this week. God is good, God is powerful and God is working in the lives of these kids.

On top of that we heard the testimonies of several teenagers willing to speak out about how God has saved their lives and their eternities. Hearing 11-13ish year olds speak so boldly about their faith was so encouraging, seeing the next generation of kids being raised in such difficult times not ashamed to speak out in front of their peers without apologising was just fantastic and God glorifying.

Praise the Lord for his abounding mercy.

Millisle CSSM went really well. It was so encouraging hearing from people from all over the community saying how happy they were it was up and running again.

The teenagers and kids who came to faith, particularly those on Friday evening was really encouraging and quite moving.
