Something I noticed is only a small hint of the ocean contains a photic zone where it can create photosynthesis with the light included in this specific zone.
Another I saw was the ocean is divided into horizontal zones which have distanced from the shore and the water. The last thing I noticed in the ck-12 is most of the life forms in the ocean either live in or visit the surface every once in a while. I wonder how deep scientists have been under the ocean and seeing how far it goes and have discovered any new marine life animals.

Plankton are tiny organisms that get swept along the currents and are either phytoplankton or zooplankton, phytoplankton or plant-like and make food by photosynthesis they live in the photic zone.

I learned that convection in the earth's mantle causes the plates to move. As the mantle rises it starts to cool down and the plates only move 2 centimeters a year!

I learned that the theory of plate tectonics brings together continental drift and seafloor spreading. Another thing I learned is a thing called plate boundary is two plates moving apart, together, and past each other. Lastly, I learned that plate tectonics can mean anything in geology and where mountain ranges and earthquakes and other features are located.
