I enjoyed writing the story using the Terry story because it helped me feel ready for the exam.

I found it very helpful to learn about how to use answer c1 and c2 and been able to remember how to write the story.

English was fantastic. From the teacher who gave us so much confidence and positive reinforcement, to her methods which helped to make the exam not feel as daunting as it was at the beginning of the year through her excellent methods.

You will be scared the first few weeks but the tools you gain here will ultimately be what helps you have the best chance to get the pass in the exams you are looking for.

Best class of the year. Best teacher of the year. My favourite class of this year.

I have always struggled with English, having a teacher that shows us the amount of support she did and always being there for us has made it so much easier!

Hannah was the best english teacher i have had out of the 2 years of being at the college, i am so grateful for the support she gave. she believed in me and i have never have that from a teacher before. i hope i pass and if i do it because of the amazing teacher i have had from her, i’ve learnt so much and i picked up her techniques so easily. Thank you Hannah!

Having the BEST teacher in the world has made English the most enjoyable subject to learn. Thanks to Natalie, I accomplished more than I dreamed possible. I particularly liked doing the stock story about Terry and loved the booklets we had to work from each week. They were invaluable and were great tools to revise from. I’m already missing English lessons.

Hannah was great, the booklets were also insanely helpful. Hannah was supportive, nice, always gave super helpful feedback and inspired me to get back into reading again. Hopefully won’t see you next year though with absolutely no ill intentions

I had Kim for the last one year.Her lessons were always amazing and quite.She is a great person and extremely talented teacher who loves to help her students and make sure that they have understood everything.She helped me a lot for that one year and because of her I felt confident attending my exams.I have enjoyed my English lessons because of her and her helpful methods of teaching.Thanks a lot.🩷

I never really liked English, tbh i still don't but Hannah was an amazing teacher that finally made me understand how to do English.

English was very hard and looked impossible at first, if I was ever going to understand everything, but because of our great teacher making it so clear, and being so helpful when we needed it, it gave us alot more understanding and confidence boosts, every lesson was better and better and was very fun because of these reasons, and it just shows that everything can be understood and done, no matter how hard it looks at first, you will understand it quickly and easier then you think, along with the teachers support and help in the lessons it will become easier overtime.

At first I was clueless about everything in English but after our brilliant teacher's help and support I finally know a lot more then I used to know and massive thanks to that,

It also helped me remember C1 and C2 of how to understand the questions and how to write them in the best way.

After going through the past year I would definitely say having a stock story helped as it built up confidence in writing a story. I would like to add how the booklets helped along with a understanding teacher who explained everything in a way that everyone could understand and if we did not they made the teaching atmosphere comfortable, so you were not afraid to ask questions. Which I found was really nice and that feedback was positive and understanding but also constructive in using criticism to help with what needed work on. Lastly, having access to all PowerPoint presentations from lessions to help with revision as well as going through past papers to help understand the questions and to analyse the text which was explained throughly as well as not expecting for students to be able to answer every question with easy and helping out with parts that people struggle with.

I would say that for English I have had a positive experience especially as I had a teacher who's teaching methods worked really well for me and is a very nice understanding lady.

English has always been a tough subject for me to learn and understand, but having incredible support and advice for passing both papers from the teachers has given me more confidence for the exams this year than it did when I wrote them last year for my GCSEs in high school.

This was my first year in college and I thought English would be hard to achieve a pass but Emma really made the work easy to understand and has made me confident in the Exams overall this year has been pretty fun.

I can not say I was confident about my English at the start of the year. Kim M made me feel comfortable during lessons. I have got a lot more confidence and understanding. I am grateful for all efforts that Kim made for me.
