The increase of water use in humans can cause the biodiversity to not get access to water.
If one organism can't get access to water, it will affect all the other organisms in the ecosystem since an ecosystem depends on all the organisms to function normal and can cause organisms to die out. For example, if worms die out, then the animals that eats the worms die out, then the animal that eats the animal that eats the worms will also die out.
