The Dallas symphony is considered world class and the Fort Worth is middle tier. We see that right away in looking at their lineups. The Dallas symphony has a ton of variety and they try to do a play on more modern music. The Fort Worth symphony is very basic, in that they stick to mainly to classical music and they don't put too much variety on their shows. Both of the orchestras do a very good job at playing the cannon music. It just wants to stick to the basics of cannon music. They seem to have no modern music. To me this is nothing that I would want to pay to see. They don't really seem to innovate or invite the masses into it. If they started to perform more popular music then they would be very innovative. They are super engaging and open. They innovate by playing more modern music. They play a decent amount of music outside of the cannon. This is a very great representation of how much is the right amount of music to engage the public.
