My career with the Avon Grove School District started in 2013. I spent my first two years teaching Kindergarten, a grade I thought I would never be able to teach. Last year I was asked to take a special ed. co-teaching position. Best/ Worst year of my short lived teaching career. This year I am happy to be back in Kindergarten!

We have a lot of student in our building that receive MTSS (RTII) services. In Kindergarten, I have a lot of students that have never been to preschool and have had very limited exposure to books. I decided to pursue a Master's in Reading to get a better understanding of what my students are learning outside of my classroom while receiving MTSS services.
