Throughout his life, Wallace Anderson tried a plethora of different tactics to help promote reconciliation between Indigenous and non-indigenous people. However, he was most known for his more down and dirty, aggressive manors. He was known to of slashed the tires of the people he was protesting against, as well as lying down in the middle of the road to block their passage. Wallace "mad bear" Anderson had one main message to deliver to the public. He made it his life goal to make sure everyone knew about the many injustices served to his people by non indigenous people. he wanted not only for his people to be treated as equals, but for them to have certain perks. He saw it as a way of paying back the wrong done to the indigenous, and he wanted to make that clear to everyone.

I picked Wallace Anderson as my activist for a couple different reasons, but I primarly admired his methods. he was a man who knew how to get things done. He was one of the very few Indigenous activists who wasn't scared to get his hands dirty for his people. He would convey his message in any way that he thought was necessary.
