It's a low-calorie snack that keeps me hydrated and provides vitamins, which is nice if you're trying to lose weight. Also, it's good and refreshing, especially on hot summer days. 🍉👍🏻 We usually get watermelon from my grandma's place since she grows them, or from my uncle's farm. I really love adobo because ang juicy niya when it’s cooked. Bawat kagat feels like a trip back home. There’s just something about its flavor na gusto kung balik-balikan. Of course, kapag sa bahay, it’s always home-cooked adobo, but in the dorm, it’s all about canteen food. Big difference, but adobo still hits differently every time.

Sarsa na uyang

My current favorite food is sarsa because I love its rich, coconutty, shrimp-flavored, and spicy taste. I first became curious about it after seeing it featured on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), and since then, I've been eager to try it. As a local specialty found only in Romblon, it felt like a must-try during my time here. In fact, I had been craving it the entire time I was in Tablas. I heard you can buy it from vendors who sell around town, but the sarsa I got was from Jang.

I have tons of favorite food but if I want something to just order and eat immediately, I would choose something fried. I like the crunch when you bite the layers and feel the chewiness of the meat inside. It also goes well with most other foods like pasta, ramen and many more. I also like to dip it in Heinz ketchup or Mang Tomas or the Sweet Chili Sauce from Del Monte.

I usually have it ordered from Sibs Coffee, Aruba, Max's, and Baryo Berde. When it's home cooked, my brother's and my father's are my favorite.

As a child, Jollibee has been the most frequent fastfood restaurant our family goes to when we are in vacation. Now that it is closer, my love for Jollibee Spaghetti grew more.
