Although I have always disagreed, this class has helped me to understand the pros and cons of technology, as well as made me believe that with proper use, technology can enhance learning in the classroom. During this class, many big ideas were discussed. One topic that was a big take away for me was LwICT and the expectation for educators to include ICT into all subjects. Another large takeaway was the fact that as a teacher, it will be possible (with the approval from the parents and the principle) to create an appropriate online presence in the classroom. The third, and main take away that this class left me with was actual resources (websites and applications) that will be useful for educating students in multiple different subjects! On this paddle I have outlined some of my favourite types of applications, as well as some examples of applications that I will defiantly use!

Below is an outline of the big ideas I took out of this class, and which colors they correspond to:

Blue: What is ICT, ICT Literacy, LwICT, and what is our role with ICT as educators?
Green: Having an online presence in the classroom.
