<title>Lady Macbeth is both treacherous and persistent. Macbeth seems to be dark and treacherous at times, because he came up with such and extreme plan. But since Lady Macbeth is very extreme throughout the planning she seems to be generally treacherous. She also makes the following statement &quot; But even as thebaby was smiling up at me, I would have pluckedmy 🤬 out of its mouth and smashed its brainsout against a wall if I had sworn to do that thesame way you have sworn to do this.&quot; (act one, scene 7, page two, modern text, Macbeth pdf). </title>
