Jay Hirtle has been playing basketball for Richmond Rockets with all his friends but was forced to move to Centerville. CAUSE: his family house caught on fire and messes their house up. It EFFECTS his old team because when Jay comes back to Richmond his old team has an attitudes towards Jay and ask why he come back. 
2.) Jay Hirtle has been picked team caption for his school basketball team. CAUSE: his coach think he's the best guy for the job on the team. It EFFECTS Colin his old friend because he think he would be a better caption then Jay.
3.) Since Jay has came back to Richmond he think his old friends have changed on him. CAUSE: if he try to talk to them they either make the conversation fast or try to get out the way when they see Colin. It EFFECTS Jay because he believe like he don't belong anymore.
4.) Kyung is a new dude to the school an has no friends but like's to play basketball. CAUSE: he always been playing it, just in a different state. It EFFECTS him because he don't know the people on the team and how they play. 
5.) Coach Willis is Richmond basketball coach and he has been trying to take his team the championship. CAUSE: he know he has the team to do it. At Richmond Academy there are a lot of people cool with Jay Hirtle into they found out how he left but they don't know the real reason he had to leave. His family was going threw problems and to make it worse his family house caught fire causing him to move schools. At the basketball court the team Rockets do a lot of drills to get there team right for the season and to see what position they will be playing for the season. At the court Coach Willis make the team run, do free throws, passing drills and even shooting drills so when the games come they will be prepared. At Jays home not much happens other then how his dad was happy when Jay told him he was team caption and when his house caught fire.

Jay Hirtle is the team captain for Richmond Rockets. He's important because he is the main character.
Colin was MVP for last season and was Jay best friend into coach picked him as team captain. He's important because they need him on the team.
Coach Willis is important because he is the coach for Richmond Academy and care a lot for his players like their his on family, always working hard with his team so they can win the Championship.
