Students would become guardians of water, but also educators of their peers, who would further expand their knowledge. The teachers of this project would demonstrate new ways and methods of working with students, and incorporating this type of teaching into the curriculum would develop strong and innovative ocean and/or water literacy.

Zadovoljstvo nam je da vas obavestimo o početku projekta “ Rastao sam pored Dunava” u saradnji sa ProBleu organizacijom koja je vodeća karika u okviru misije Evropske unije “Obnovite naše okeane i vode” koja se fokusira na revitalizaciju videnih ekosistema, uključujući mora, okeane i slatke vode. Živimo pored Dunava, slušamo talase, vidimo i cenimo svaku boju velike reke i znamo šta svaka nijansa znači. Naši učenici će razviti snažnu inovativnu pismenost o okeanu i vodama, postaće čuvari vode, ali i vaspitači svojih vršnjaka i šire zajednice u aktivnostima Mreže evropskih plavih škola (NEBS).

U saradnji sa ReFocuS FLOW timom kao i Opštinskom organizacijom Inđija u sklopu Evropske Noći Istraživača dobili smo priliku široj javnosti u našoj opštini i školama prikažemo naša ispitivanje kvaliteta vode koje bi kolege i učenici mogli da koriste u školi i/ili kod kuće. Održali smo interaktivnu radionicu pod nazivom „Čudesni filteri“, koja je privukla veliki broj posetilaca svih uzrasta. Cilj ove radionice bio je da učesnicima približi koncepte filtracije, očuvanja životne sredine i značaja čiste vode u našem svakodnevnom životu.

In December, we participated in the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "Innovation and Career Development in Teaching", hosted by the "Tudor Vladimirescu" school in Craiova. At the conference, we presented the importance of water conservation through a presentation on "Open access data on marine and freshwater", highlighting the significance of accessible data on freshwater and marine ecosystems for enhancing ecological awareness and education. Additionally, we took the opportunity to promote our project, showcasing its goals, activities, and importance for sustainable water resource management.

As part of our project, we held a lecture on "Water Quality Testing at School – Raising Awareness of Environmental Impact", in collaboration with students from Portugal who visited our school. Through interactive activities and experiments, students had the opportunity to analyze the water quality in their environment and understand the importance of preserving water resources. This collaboration contributed to the exchange of experiences and encouraged the development of environmental awareness among young people.

Cilj konkursa je da podstaknemo kreativno izražavanje kroz različite umetničke forme, inspirišući se lepotom, značajem i ekološkim izazovima reke Dunav. Konkurs ima za cilj da poveže učenike sa prirodnim okruženjem reke Dunav, podstičući ih na razmišljanje o njenoj važnosti i očuvanju.

As part of the fourth activity in the project, we have announced a literary and visual arts contest for all primary and secondary schools on the theme:

"When standing at its source, I think of its mouth."

The goal of the contest is to encourage creative expression through various art forms, inspired by the beauty, significance, and ecological challenges of the Danube River. The contest aims to connect students with the natural environment of the Danube, encouraging them to reflect on its importance and conservation.

Tokom realizacije projekta, učenici su stekli znanja o važnosti zaštite životne sredine, hemijskim i biološkim parametrima kvaliteta vode, savremenim tehnologijama za prečišćavanje i očuvanje vode, kao i o značaju individualnog i kolektivnog delovanja.

Svoje znanje odlučili su da podele sa drugarima iz škole kroz interaktivno predavanje koje je uključivalo prezentaciju, kratke video-klipove, demonstracije eksperimentalnih metoda ispitivanja vode i diskusiju o svakodnevnim navikama koje utiču na potrošnju i zagađenje vode. Predavanje je osmišljeno tako da bude razumljivo, zanimljivo i motivišuće za sve učenike, bez obzira na uzrast.

Poseban akcenat stavljen je na to da mladi mogu biti pokretači promena u svojoj zajednici, ukazujući da znanje koje stiču kroz školu i projekte može imati konkretan uticaj na očuvanje prirode i zdravlje ljudi. Učenici su pokazali visok nivo odgovornosti i posvećenosti, a njihovo samopouzdanje i komunikacione veštine značajno su ojačane ovim iskustvom.

Ova aktivnost je doprinela širenju ekološke svesti među mladima i stvorila prostor za međusobnu saradnju, razmenu ideja i podsticanje aktivnog učešća u rešavanju problema iz okruženja.

As part of the Blue project, students took on the role of educators and gave a presentation to their peers on the topic of water conservation and the sustainable use of water resources. This presentation was held in celebration of World Water Day, with the goal of raising awareness among young people about the importance of water for life and the challenges related to its availability and preservation.

Throughout the project, students gained knowledge about the importance of environmental protection, chemical and biological parameters of water quality, modern technologies for water purification and conservation, and the importance of both individual and collective action.

They decided to share this knowledge with their classmates through an interactive presentation that included slides, short video clips, demonstrations of water testing methods, and a discussion about everyday habits that impact water consumption and pollution. The presentation was designed to be clear, engaging, and inspiring for students of all ages.

Special emphasis was placed on the idea that young people can be agents of change in their communities, showing how the knowledge they acquire through school and projects can have a real impact on preserving nature and protecting human health. The students demonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitment, and their confidence and communication skills were greatly enhanced through this experience.

This activity contributed to raising ecological awareness among youth and created a platform for collaboration, idea exchange, and encouraging active participation in addressing environmental challenges.

Ovo prestižno priznanje dobili smo zahvaljujući našim edukativnim projektima koji promovišu zaštitu mora i okeana, kao i razvoju svesti o značaju vode i održivom korišćenju prirodnih resursa među učenicima i širom zajednicom.

🎓 Kao potvrdu članstva, uručen nam je zvanični Sertifikat Pridružene Evropske Plave Škole, čime smo postali deo mreže obrazovnih ustanova širom Evrope i šire koje doprinose razvoju okeanske pismenosti.
