Mulan's pride restricts her from seeing the danger in her choices. She injured herself causing her to leave the war. She tries to do everything by herself in the war, but instead puts others in grave danger.

Cady Heron from Mean Girls

She started to sabotage Regina and steals Aaron from her, she also pushes away her friends and creates drama by spreading rumors. In the end, she realizes that popularity is not the most important thing, but true friendship and being herself is what matters most.

Marlin from Finding Nemo

However, with that desire she ends up losing her voice. Overall, her internal struggle to be a mermaid instead of human causes new difficulties in her life.

King Ben's hamartia was that he had to high of expectations for peoples. Which lead to Mal leaving Auradon. He follows her to The Isle and then gets kidnapped by Uma. He believes that Uma will be nice to other, when in reality she wont.
