         <description><![CDATA[<div>Vivistim, developed by a UT Dallas MicroTransponder, is a stimulator implant to enhance movement recovery in stroke patients undergoing rehab and therapy.  <br>Researchers at University of Texas, Dallas, developed and are currently testing vagus nerve stimulation therapy for improving motor function in patients suffering from stroke.  <br>The Vagus Nerve Stimulator, VNS, is base on the principle that simultaneously synchronizing vagus nerve stimulation with movement increases neural plasticity in the brain, resulting in enhanced recovery.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Currently 800,000 people a year suffer from a stroke and the lasting effects can be life changing.  This innovation caught my attention because I see so many patients that lose their motor function from a stroke.  I think this new advancement would improve the outcomes of these patients as well as their autonomy.  Improving motor function after a stroke means positive outcomes for these patients.  This allows them to regain their independence and ability to care for themselves.  I support this innovation and optimistic in the success of the studies being done at this time.  </div>]]></description>

What makes this innovation successful.  Financial ideas, presentation and success of the program comes from flexibile ideas and last minute changes.  Ideation requires to be ready at all times to fix the problems that may come up.  </div>]]></description>
