I would have the class actually engage in discussing about the logic and validity of the response and in doing so see that putting up jokes like this when time cannot be afforded is destructive rather than productive OR state that if this were a professional setting, such a response would be deleted (I will carry out the action) and then state that this individual just lost his chance to learn.
