1) during the day you cant visit central  park in manhattan at 4:00pm  and you walk around up to 8:00pm . after you cant drink a coffee on a rooftop bar (bar on top of a tower, not a trump tower !!) and see the landscapes. 

2) during the day you cant visit One world Trade center (wtc1). It is a 541 meter tower it is beautiful and very astonishing. 

3) during the night you cant walk around in central parck in manhattan. It is beautiful parck suround building .

Except that, New York Yankees, one of the most famous baseball team in Major League Baseball, located in Bronx too.So many people who like baseball must like this borough very much.

NEW YORK 

In 1492,after Columbus found the American continent, the colonists from Europe came and built the trading post.Little by little,there became a free port.This was the predecessor [/ˈpriːdɪˌsɛsə/]  of NY. 

In 1524,an italien called  Giovanni came and visited NY.He is the first european who came to NY.Giovanni was an explorer and he was loyal to France.He declared that NY was belong to France,and named it « new Angouleme » 

In 1602,many Dutch came to NY and named it « new nederland » 

In 1651,England and Netherland had a fight.In 1664,England won the war,and got the « new Amsterdam ».The English called it « New York » 

After the 《Declaration of Independence》，America and England began the Revolutionary War. With France’s help，America won the war，and New York came back to the US again.

Manhattan 

In 1625,Dutch found a island in NY.They stayed there and called it « new Amsterdam ».This island was the predecessor of Manhattan.After the NY went back, Manhattan became richer and richer. Now, Manhattan is one of the most important places of the world. 

Brooklyn 

At first, the Dutch built some village in Brooklyn. It became a community little by little. In 1686, it became the Kings County of the NY. In 1898, after the voting,  Brooklyn became a borough of the NY formally. 

Queens 

Queens was named because of the wife of Charles II——Queens Catherine.In 1683, Queens was built as one of the first 12 county of the NY. The GDP of Queens is just lower than Manhattan. 

Bronx 

Bronx is a suburb of the NY. In 1970, Bronx became the shantytown. In 1990, the government in NY made the Bronx became better and better. 

Staten Island 

In 1630, Dutch came to this island for living. Days by days, people built and improve the Staten Island. In 1898, it became a part of NY city. Now, Staten Island is a important place of the industry.

Background: My name is Günter.I am an German.I grew up in a turbulent era called Nazis occupation. In 1933, Adolf Hitler became dictator of Germany. Because of the dictatorship, I began my journey to NY.

In 16, november, 1933,I couldn't bear any more. I hate the autocracy, the dictator. I will flee away, I will go to the heaven in my dream, New York.

In 23, november,A friend told me about a boarding and I decided with my family of get a ticket for a boat of migrants but I have a big problem, I don't have enough money for buy a ticket.The next day I made a decision that I never thought I'd take, I decided to sell the heritage that my parents left me before to die for buy a ticket.

In 3 december,I succeeded! I collect enough money to buy the ticket! I bought the ticket for the boat to Ellis island with my family successfully. The ship is very big and there are many people on it. I haven't seen many people like these before. I was very excited. I feel it is really a beautiful day outside. The birds are singing and the flowers are blooming. The sky and the sea are never such beautiful like today before. It is really a good day to set off.

In 7 december.There wasn't any omens, but suddenly, it rained very heavy. The passengers were all very scare, and they feared the rains will damage the ship.But I didn't be afraid. I believed that the god will bless me to arrive the Ellis island safely. As expected, the rains stopped and everything is well.

In 12 december,

In 20 december, I arrived! Thanks godness, I finally stand on the soil of Ellis island! But meanwhile, I became very nervous.I wonder if I can pass the check for the immigrants. I know that if I can't, I have to go back to the hell again, I didn't what the end like this! I pray, I pray, I pray...

In 22 december, this is the most important day in my life! From this day, I will never need to be burning in the hell again! Here is paradise! Finally I passed the checking. Many people failed, they shouted and cried. They are very poor, aren't they? But I can't think of these anymore! I want to open a store to earn the money, I will do everything that I want to do!

Hello I'm Kley Holt ,Sorry to cut you off Brondon Jonson but I think you're wrong. Queens is THE BEST boroughs in New York, And I'm going to prove it to you with four reasons.

Queens is a beautiful boroughs with migrants from many differents countries.

Queens is the boroughs where they find richs peoples,a lot of entertainements.

Queens is also a big artistic place,With the most expensive and the oldest museum of US.

Thanks to its ideal location, Queens has a lot of beautiful place.

Today we talk about boroughs of New York.

As a first step, three journalists be presenting a chronicle, And we finish with a debate between four peoples from a differents boroughts of New York. 

Our first journalist is Shen and he going to tell you the story of each boroughs.
