As an English teacher I need to learn how to introduce these tools to classes in a more effective way. It Is not only “use the new app” during lessons. Its relevance is imperative to make learners use them successfully. I always need to remind myself that technology is not a matter of computers or high quality wi-fi signal, but the purpose of introducing it in the classroom. Even a set of post-its can be considered technology when used with and for a purpose.

If I had to evaluate my learning during this module, I would give myself a 7. I can’t consider myself a master on the topic but I believe that now I can manage uploading activities and preparing exercises in the platforms presented than when I started learning about them. I can also say that I am able to work with more simpler tools more effectively, such as Power Point and Word. Google presentations or any of its remote tools, made my life easier even to prepare my TCC. At first, my group and I were really scared (yes, that is the word), but once we got the hang of it, we can say that this is something we want to use forever! When we work and study and have house demands, time is something really scarce. Getting to know Google’s remote tools made me realize that, even though we sometimes get a bit resistant to the use of technology, it is essential and extremely necessary to be able to use it more at ease. We can’t deny that technology makes our lesson plannings, search for exercises and activities easier and faster than it was a mere decade ago. So, yes, I can say that, I am yet to excel the use of technological tools, but I am on my way there.
