part of the population would argue that by proving better jobs and moving them would increase livability but what I would prefer is to improve the conditions of these favelas instead of demolishing them. The Favela bairro project was created to help this ruckus, this project has helped over 450,00 people ! Building electrical grids, accessible water sources (water tanks,piping), infrastructure, and schools.
