Once we heard the knock everyone jumped. Someone had to answer the door but they were to scared to get up and open the door.  My mother stood up slowly to open it, then suddenly the lights went out. Everyone was screaming, it was pitch black and they couldn’t see very well. They all sat there for a minute or two thinking of what to do, then the dad got up. He started looking for candles of something so they could see.

The house was silent. All you could hear was the wind blowing outside. I slowly turned to my friends as we were astonished that the lights had turned off by themselves. Little did we know that this may had been our last chance to escape this house. We slowly got up trying to be as silent as possible because we didn’t know what was in the house. The lights turned back on. I turned to the light switch where my brother sat laughing at us. Now I know not to have sleepovers at my house.

Today was the day I met the woman of my life. She meant the world to me. The way we met was like it came from a disney movie.
It’s been almost a year without him, I know it could’ve been my fault for not paying attention to the signs he was showing me.
It could’ve been me who screwed everything up, not showing her the attention that she need and deserved.
I fell head over heels for him.
I still love her, but I know I can't be with her.

Without a care in the world I senselessly turned on the porch light so it wouldn’t put on a depressing moment the lights off and me sitting alone. In a matter of fact being alone was kinda fun because I don’t really like talking to people or hearing loud noises. Being alone and hearing a noise or seeing something turn off is the most creepiest thing ever. Out of nowhere all of a sudden the lights turned off and then I passed out of scaredness.

The only thing you could hear was the clock ticking.  It was great that I wasn’t by myself since I was in the bathroom. But in the same time not so great, because I forgot my phone in class. I got out and didn’t see anything in the hallways since I guess the lights went out to. Behind me was Jayla, who was also in the bathroom. When I got out of the bathroom I saw how the lights kept glitching. When I heard one of my classmates laughing and making fun of our expression of how scared we were.

The only thing I could hear was the clock ticking. "Tick Tock Tick Tock" Then there was a knock at the door and the sound of a far off scream . That is when we started to panic. my father went to get the gun my mom went to the kitchen and got a knife but before they got back a chain saw started and started sawing out our front door and my sister screamed. My father came down the stairs with the shotgun and shot the front door. Out front was the dead sheriff.

  I was in my room and all i heard was someone breathing. I went out of my room and went downstairs to see who was home. I yelled for my dad but no one was home. I went back up stairs to look for a flashlight but the batteries were bad so I was trying to find something but i heard something down stairs and I run down there to see what it was and the lights were flickering on and off so i ran next door. They said it was all just a prank.
