Below is an example of a Grand staff.  A Grand staff shows both the bass and treble clef.  Clefs are placed at the beginning of a staff. Next to the staff is a time signature, a time signature tells you how many beats are in each measure. For example, 4/4 shown below means there are 4 beats in each measure.
