Jeanettes life since the beginning was always chaotic from worrying about where they were running away too and worrying about there next meal but when she was in the hospital everything seemed in order never having to worry about much . Jeanette said "That was the thing about the hospital. You never had to worry about running out of stuff like food or ice or even chewing gum. I would have been happy staying in that hospital forever". I chose a scribbled picture because that to seem what chaos would feel like everywhere.

Non-conformity is failure or refusal to conform but in The class castle its straying outside the norm. In the book there's a quote saying . Jeanette said "I never believed in Santa Claus. None of us kids did. Mom and Dad refused to let us. They couldn't afford expensive presents and they didn't want us to think we weren't as good as other kids" . The Walls family were always a stand out to norms because they didn't really appreciate there kids but I also chose this picture to fit this theme as a broken Christmas .

It will be difficult to resolve the conflict between the real world and one's fantasy world if one is unable to distinguish between the two. Because they will feel trapped, they will be unable to improve their life. In this novel Rex’s reality and fantasy through his actions and the family's perspective of his actions. Rex is optimistic for the future, as he believes that his inventions will one day make the Walls family rich. I chose this picture because Rex always to think there's an easy path to all of his problems and thing the glass castle will fix all of his problems.

The parents of Jeannette did everything in their power to uplift their children throughout. They kept making promises to their kids, even if they didn't always keep them about providing for them. Rex Walls once promised his daughter that he would one day construct a magnificent Glass Castle for her. Jeanette said"When Dad wasn’t telling us about all the amazing things he had already done, he was telling us about the wondrous things he was going to do. Like build the Glass Castle" . I chose a broken plate as the picture because it resembles that way broken promises feel like thrown like nothing.

Jeanette, her siblings, and they have spent their entire lives forgiving their parents for their carelessness. Jeanette said "As awful as he could be, I always knew he loved me in a way no one else ever had". This indicates that even though she was aware of al of the mistakes he had made throughout his life, she managed to forgive him and see the positive side of things. I picked a beach picture because Jeannette let go of all his mistakes and made it out into positive thing.

Jeannette is independent at a very young age. she was just three years old. The con is that she matures more quickly than other kids and can care for herself, even though this is on the edge of neglect and often hurts her. Jeanette said "Mom says I'm mature for my age," I told them, "and she lets me cook for myself a lot." But I picked a picture of a plant growing cause that's how I see coming of age.
