Every person has different perspectives of things, and I love reading about how others explain emotions, sometimes I agree with them and it inspires me to write my own take on each thing.

Hiking/Travelling

Travelling to different places and camping on top of mountains is one of my favorite things. Being in nature and away from distractions makes me think about things I may otherwise try to block myself from. It's a helpful way to work through hard times in my life, and also feel appreciation for things I don't always notice. This inspires me by giving me space to create things and come up with new ideas.

My mom grew up in Boston, and spent most of her time with her two older brothers, Jeremy and Joel. She spent her teenage life hanging around in Cambridge and going to concerts. She created many punk bands and wrote lots of her own music. She traveled through England taking pictures, and following the tour of a certain band. She has always been weird and loud and always breaking into song. We play music and make music together, and I've never felt more comfortable being myself around anyone and trying new things.

My uncle Jeremy travels the world, and lives in Malaysia with his wife. He is an amazing cook and does food tours, as well as a photographer. I've been able to visit them twice, and explore the other places around Malaysia. I've learned about different cultures, foods, and more. I noticed a lot of things, good and bad, and it led me to think deeply. It inspires me to look under the surface of things.

Finding new genres and artists is always inspiring to me. Not only does music inspire me to make music and learn more, but it inspires me to work on other things as well. When I work on art projects, I usually listen to artists like MF Doom, Digable Planets, A Tribe Called Quest, and so on. This music inspires me t be funky, and express myself through art. While I bake and cook, I listen to jazz and categories of that sense. Music motivates me.
