Be sure that you are able to bring a few #2 pencils because that is all that they are going to let you use. Be sure to have your phone turned off and put away. The most important thing would have to be, be sure to fill out everything.

The first time I took the ACT I ate a really small breakfast and then didn't bring a snack for during the break. I was in the middle of my third test when my stomach started growling, and it was not a quiet growl. I was so embarrassed. I made sure that on my second test date I made sure to eat a large breakfast and bring food to snack on during break.

On the morning of the ACT, get up at a normal time, so you aren't too tired. Take a nice 15 mile hike before the test, and drink lots of water. Eat a big breakfast, so you're fully energized for the morning. Last, you're going to want to fight a bear to get your blood flowing. Finally, drive to the ACT with all your materials and stay focused.

On the day of the test you need to wake up early and eat a nutritious breakfast. I prefer to make and over easy egg with toast, and sausage. I cook my sausage for 5 min on both sides for the perfect piece. Also, before i left i made sure to pet both of my cats for good look and a stress relief. Don't rush the test, A country boy in my room finished the math section in 10min lolz. Make sure you have fun while during the breaks.

You should also eat a lot of protein, your brain is a muscle and needs to be fueled. I took a protein bar to eat during the break.

Make sure you read the list of things you should bring to the ACT. They send you a really long email, and you should probably read it because everyone loves their favorite mechanical pencil with the button on the side so you think it would be a good idea to bring it to the ACT and you end up begging people for a #2 pencil or two, it sucks. Bring snacks to eat during the breaks and money to eat Mexican food afterwards if you're taking it in Sabetha.

AAAladfjdl
-Sometimes it takes a long time to switch back and forth from your test booklet to your bubble sheet to fill in answers. You! can! write! in! your! test! booklet! It helps if you fill out a page at a time, circle the answers in your test booklet, and then fill them out in your bubble sheet!!
-When you sign up for the ACT, there is an option to buy a release of the test. This means that after you take the test, they will send you a copy of the test you took, and a paper that has what you answered as well as the correct answers!!
-STUDY WITH FRIENDS
-DON'T STRESS!!! :0000

I will leave you on my number one rule for all of you, go to the bathroom as often as you can. Thankyou

You see I'm an ACT taking professional and I can help you maybe pass the ACT(17). In English you should probably select the shortest answer. Thats what I heard at least. I don't know any tips for Science except that you should just pray to God and hope you get the right answer. During the reading, just carefully read and try to time yourself. (We all know you don't read) Math just sucks and you should look up important formulas the night before. You also cannot forget to do a brain cool down after the ACT. This will help your brain immensely. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

Bring around 3 pencils, don't forget your calculator, make sure you have everything ready the night before. One thing I wish I would have done was copy off of my friend because he had the same test as me and got a 31. You should also eat a healthy breakfast in the morning to help you wake up.

Well one thing too do is make sure you prepared yourself the night before by getting you clothes ready and stuff like that. Plus make sure you aren't getting there at 7:48 when you are supposed to be there at 7:50. One of the most important thing is when taking the test that once the supervisor says 5 minutes that you still aren't on question 30 when there 60 questions in total. As well as bring pencils so you don't have to borrow just one from your friend.

The first tip that I have for taking the ACT is to make sure are at the test center with your pencils, ID, and ticket. When you go in to take the test, sit somewhere that you will not be distracted. While taking the test it is okay to skip problems that you don't know and move on to other questions that you do know. Other than that, go in with confidence to take this test.

To begin, I would get at least 5 hours of sleep the night before. When you wake up, eat a nutritious breakfast. I typically choose milk and a poptart which is probably not the best choice. If you are car-pooling with other people, do not show up more than 10 minutes late. This act will stress out your riding partners and they will probably end with a score of 8 on the ACT. That is not a good score.

Leading up to the ACT you need to plan out time to study, whether it be 30 minutes or an hour each night. The night before you want to have everything prepared, your pencils sharpened, your calculator, and a snack for the break. Get plenty of sleep the night before. Make sure you have a good breakfast, because I spent one of the ACT's listening to my stomach growling the whole time. During the test my biggest tip would be to not look at the clock. Sometimes when you look at the clock you feel like you're running out of time and you rush through the rest.

Bring food to eat at break, because if you're like me you won't wake up early enough to eat a healthy breakfast. Don't forget to bring a buddy so you don't look like a complete loner during break. When you are at break don't lose track of time because you won't want to be late and unable to complete the second half of the test.

Remember to bring #2 pencils and your ID. I would recommend brining a drink and a snack to eat during the break. If you do not have time to answer all of the questions I suggest that you just pick one letter and answer it on all of the ones you have left. You have a better chance at picking the correct one. Also use common sense if you have time to skim over the problem. Do not over think it because the ACT is not as bad as you think it is.

The morning of the ACT, I encourage that you eat a good breakfast. A good example is a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on WHEAT toast from the Log Cabin. You should also bring some chocolate to eat during your 5 minute break, you can get that at the Log Cabin as well. If you get at least 8 hours of sleep, you might get a better score, but no promises.

A few months ago, I took the ACT Prep Class at our school. The teacher pointed out an interesting fact for the English portion of the test - pick the shortest answer. Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt. The first time I took the test, I think I picked the answers that sounded the smartest, but really they just throw those in there so you do pick them. On the second test, my score went up several points because I usually picked the most concise choice and the choice that did not repeat information.

When taking the ACT, make sure you are well rested before you come to the test. Eat a good breakfast before you leave your house or grab something on the way. When you get ready to take the test, don't freak out, you will be fine. As you are taking the test, have good time management and just stay relaxed. One thing that I like to do is go through and answer the questioned I know at the start and then go through and answer the other ones.

Bring your own snacks for break, and you should've ate a good solid breakfast. Since you'll be in Sabetha, make sure to eat at El Canelos for lunch. It won't help your score but you'll have sum gud fud at a gud price boi.
