Some people have pointed out that the light from the window behind him illustrates that the implied lines of the pediment above the window create the illusion of a halo but that was not purposely intended

Leonardo started painting when he was 15 and released his first painting, "The Archangel Gabriel" when he was just 18.
He painted the worlds most famous artwork "Mona Lisa"
He is very famous for his work because back then there wasn't much detail in artists faces along with their body parts, so for him to paint such detailed ad unique pieces was very incredible.
