Today I would like to talk about teen the spare time and watching TV. First of all I'd like to say a few word on the given pie chart. I can see a chart showing the types of TV programmes that teenagers prefer. Most respondents watch documentaries, with less than twenty-two per cent watching reality TV. A similar percentage of viewers are also those watching talent shows. However, teenagers are the least likely to watch news and game shows ( nine and six per cent respectively). Therefore, it can be said that modern people are more interested in documentaries than in today's news or games. But I enjoy watching reality shows the most, because they show the real emotions and reactions of people to the situations that have arisen there. Television is a place where we relax and allow ourselves to relax. There we can see a variety of things, from nature to the news. So young people today also spend a lot of time in front of the TV. They watch movies or series, and this helps them relax. But of course, in my opinion, this needs to be limited, as spending a lot of time in front of the TV can cause headaches and impaired vision. On weekdays, I usually do not have time to sit in front of the TV, but I try to watch the news. But at the weekends, I enjoy watching series or movies and find it so relaxing. So, I cannot say I devote a lot of time to it. Basically, it is important for me to watch TV when the latest daily news is shown. So I agree with the view that television helps us to widen our horizons. With the help of TV we can travel in nature, watching real nature images or simple movies. We can also go on exciting trips. We choose the movies we like, and this gives us the emotions we need at the time. Also, not everyone can travel due to a lack of money but they are able to experience the feelings of another country, making it a great way to travel remotely. But I don't agree with the idea that television prevents as from taking part in life, because television is apart.

According to the chart, most teens choose to watch documentaries on TV, but only a tiny fraction of them like to watch TV news. I think, like most peers, I choose to watch those TV programmes that feature more interesting movies or shows. This is because teens are much more interested in watching movies than in talk shows. The trouble, however, is that some watch TV too much, but not all, because others focus more on studying or their other hobbies. As for me, I only watch TV at weekends because I study and spend my free time differently on weekdays. Television is only important to me so much that I can watch movies or series with my family and friends. I think TV and some shows can broaden a person’s mind, but when they watch TV, a person is constantly in a state of laziness and no longer benefits from the show.

In conclusion, I can say that television is important in both my life and the lives of others, but it can be dangerous because we can become lazy or even addicted to it.

Today I would like to talk about very popular topics: leisure time and television. Nowadays, many teens use social networks such as Instagram and Facebook, share love snapshots or watch TV. The highest percentage of young people choose to watch documentaries. 22 percent choose to watch reality shows. A talent show is watched by a small number of teenagers, and only 9 percent enjoy game shows. The smallest number of respondents watches a TV news programme. We like to watch documentaries most of all because we can learn a lot about the past. Ancient times provide more sophistication. We usually spend less time watching TV now than we used to, because social networks are now popular, but we often spend about 2-3 hours a day watching TV. Television allows us to get to know more about the cultures, customs, and traditions of other countries. We can get acquainted with the prevailing nature and landscapes there, and we can also learn about the most important news of the day that we hear on the news programme . But I think sometimes there is a lot of propaganda on TV that sometimes annoys people. However, television also allows people's talents to be revealed on various reality shows, such as Lithuanian Talents or The Voice of Lithuania. It is a great opportunity for people to become famous and reveal themselves. I think television allows us to learn and find out a lot, but sometimes it gives us a lot of fake news and conveys a lot of fake life.

A small number of teenagers choose to watch talent shows and only six per cent of the people prefer watching the news. Personally, I like to watch documentaries the most because it’s based on real facts and it’s just interesting to me. I don’t think young people spend too much time watching tv because now people prefer to choose social media like instagram, tiktok, snapchat or facebook. I rarely watch TV. But since I have a TV in my room, it’s usually on for me just to make the room feel more comfortable. I think TV can teach us a lot, but watching TV too much is bad for your physical and mental health. Watching more than 3 hours of television a day may contribute to behavior problems, sleep difficulties, health issues, and lower grades. Too much television can also make you antisocial.

Television, sometimes shortened to TV or telly, is a telecommunication medium used for transmitting moving images in black and white or in color, and in two or three dimension and sound. Television for today it is no longer so important in our lives. But according to this chart many teenagers prefer documentary films. In this diagram there are two tv programmes that I prefer. The first one is news because I really wanna know what’s going on in our world. And the second one is talent show where everyone shows they talents of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument, comedy or other activities to showcase skills. television is no longer important to our modern children. They all had phones where they can watch anything they need. I spend little time in front of the TV, except when I watch movies on netflix or play games on playstation. but i have games and netflix on my phone too. the phone is a portable thing to have all the time together and that you need to be at home to watch TV. I agree with both opinions because there are two human groups some of people where they watch on tv some amazing places and they go there if they can. And there an other group where they watch on tv the same place and just sit in home act like they were been there. My opinion that television is not important maybe of the information of our planet. Because all we need we have on real life

Today I’m going to talk about free time and television. According to the chart, young people choose to watch documentaries on TV, when a tiny minority choose to watch news. Comparing these percentages of the two TV programs, I can assume that young people don’t like to hear about current issues in the world. They want to see more images that cause them joy, interest, serenity. I personally prefer documentary films. Documentary films use video and film scenes, photographs and sound of real people and real events which when edited together creates a particular story, viewpoint, message. Watching TV isn’t always good for you. It has its own shortcomings and defects. Young people spend so much time staring at a screen instead of interacting with the world. Young people from an early age are accustomed watching the screen wanting more and more. Or to escape the reality. I personally, spend around 2-3 hours in a week watching television. If I need something new to know, learn I can easily approach the TV and play whatever I want. In conclusion, I can say that TV broadens the mind. It can increase the rage of one’s knowledge, understanding, or experience. For example, travelling. When you want to travel, you have to know where are you going, what you want and can see there. But If you don’t have that knowledge, you can’t travel. There are many travel channels that give you advices and all information about your travelling journey and desired destination.

In today ‘s society we spend a lot of time watching television why? I’m going to answer to this question. Firstly, this topic became popular because of what channels can be found there. But the vast majority of people watch TV in the vast majority of teens. Researchers can prove this too, because television shows can really distract a person from watching time, thus losing a sense of time and often spending free time as a result. As we can see on the depicted scale, a large proportion of teenagers like to watch documentaries (44%) and Reality TV (22%). The least watched are news (6%), game shows (9%) and talent shows (19%) because they get bored quickly and young people don't like it very much. This is why we see why a large number of teenagers do not find free time. If I had to answer, is such a massive look healthy? I would say no because it impairs visibility and people of this age can become blind than they should be, so it's better to protect yourself and try to watch less TV.

Today I will talk about teenager free time, specifically television. I was given this pie chart, with the results of a survey which TV programmes teenagers prefer. A vast majority of teens prefer documentary films, while a tiny minority choose to watch news. This illustrates the fact that teenagers don’t care about current news and what’s happening in the world, they rather choose to watch documentaries about something that brings them joy or interest. Almost the same percentage of watching, have reality TV shows and talent shows. These shows attract teens by showing fun, dramatic and engaging stuff. Only 9 percent of teenagers like to watch game shows. I personally don't watch TV that much, mostly when it shows basketball games. Also, I like quiz shows, but I don’t manage to see them in time, so I watch the recording on the computer. These days young people spend less time watching television, because they are more occupied by their phones and computers. In today’s world teens watch their shows, films and other stuff on their computers and phones, that leaves less time for television, but it is harmful the same as watching television. Like I said earlier, I don’t watch TV that much, only when I’m watching sports. A basketball match lasts about 2 hours and on TV it shows once a week. So, I spend about 2 hours watching TV per week. Some people think that TV broadens the mind, giving us access to places and experiences not normally available to us. Others think that watching TV stops us from participating in life. I personally think that TV is good for us in some cases. For instance, it is important to know what’s happening in the world right now, but it is also important to choose the right information, because today’s world is full of disinformation and lies. But I agree with others who say that TV takes a lot of our time. Some TV shows are without meaning and sometimes just dumb, these shows are fun and engaging, but for us it is no benefit. In conclusion, television is important for us to follow the recent news, but it is not beneficial with their meaningless shows.
