"When I bit off more than I could chew" (Sinatra 14). This is a metaphor because it saying how life gave him a lot on his plate and he managed it. This is significant because it shows how he is reflecting upon the bad things, yet he is still happy that it happened.

There are many end rhymes; "And now, the end is near / And so I face the final curtain / My friend, I'll say it clear" (Sinatra 1-3).
-Alliteration: "And more, much more than this" (Sinatra 7). It is a repetition of letter M and this creates alliteration.
-Assonance: "Oh no, oh no, not me" (Sinatra 23). Repetition of the O sound.
