         <description><![CDATA[<div>I use receipt tape for blank number lines.  Then students can write or cut and sort numbers on the receipt tape to complete a number line.  You could also provide semi-complete number lines to students and have them come up with whole numbers, fractions, decimals etc. that would work in empty spaces. </div>]]></description>

         <title>My favorite graphing lesson is to listen to two different stories and have student&#39;s collect &quot;data&quot; on the kew words of those stories as we listen (in my stories it was the words donut and hot dog). After we collected that data, we built graphs (tally charts, bar graphs, etc.) on the data the students collected to compare the two. </title>
