Mr Bean hardly ever sets his alarm on his mobile in the morning. He tends to wake up when he hears his next- door-neighbour's alarm clock through the thin walls of his flat. If his neighbour sets his alarm at 7a.m., Mr Bean gets up at seven. If the alarm goes off some time later, Mr Bean is late for work. 
For breakfast he has 2 hard-boiled eggs, some bacon and beans and drinks some white coffee. He takes a yoghurt in his briefcase for his morning break. Then he usually drives to town in his old mini. 

However, today is a very special day. Mr Bean is having a lighter breakfast because he is going out for lunch to a smart restaurant. It’s his birthday.
