This is important because basically what it is saying is that when two or more countries argue against something with each other, they are to deal with the problem in a non violent way, so that no wars and or attacks are brought up upon each other. This was implemented to show how if we solve our problems with peace and communication (reason), it will hopefully prevent future wars from occurring again, like WW1 and WW2

If one country is in trouble, they should have the support of others. That goes to say, when one country is in danger or has an enemy, the members of the United Nations should retaliate against the enemy and not take their side. While reading this sub point, I made a connection towards school and how groups and cliques function. The groups made in school work the same way as this sub point. We all stick together and when someone has a problem with one person in that group, they have a problem with the whole group.

Article 2, item 2 states that People should follow the rules in order for them to benefit from their rights as it states in the article of the charter document that they should follow the laws and obligations given to them in order to secure their rights as the general public in all they must follow these rules that come from the charter in order to benefit and be able to have rights. And I believe this is very important because the UN's want to help others and all they have to do is follow the rules and they will benefit greatly because they will obtain and secure their rights.

Article 2 Section 2

All Members, in order to ensure to all of them the rights and benefits resulting from membership, shall fulfill in good faith the obligations assumed by them in accordance with the present Charter. This means that the members need to be faithful to the charter and what is written in it for peace and success to flourish in the world. This is an important addition because is makes it so that the countries knows that without this charter there will not be peace and war can once again rise to the surface. Knowing the the countries want peace and is a common goal for everyone so by following rules the the countries have signed in agreement to is important.
