Content and Language Integrated Learning is an innovative educational approach in which an additional language is used for the learning and teaching of both content and language. I am teaching Graphic Design and Multimedia in a technical Institute in Cremona and I have noticed how this method is gaining popularity in all classes because it offers an opportunity to significantly improve overall language competence; CLIL increases student motivation and foster learning of content-subject. My current experience has followed integrated actions to achieve CLIL goals. The language learning is performed in the labs, using the graphic programs in original English language. For the purpose of the study, the main arguments are described in English and the contents related to the elements outlined are written. In my experience, I have examined the effectiveness of the CLIL principles in the context of teacher education and I have explored students’ perceptions regarding the CLIL approach.
