My supervisor, Suzanne Moynihan, instructed me on my first task of cleaning the mirrors around the shop. During my  time there, i  steamed shirts, organized them by size, and learned how to fold chinos and jeans. I also changed the prices of the clothes and added sale cards to them, and I learned how to use a scanner. Additionally, I put size cubes on the hangers, took new stock out of the plastic, added prices, and hung them up. I organized the different brands of clothes, ensuring that they were in the correct places. My work experience helped me  develop skills such as listening, communication, and teamwork. I went on lunch at one and finished working at four. Overall, it seems like the highlights of my work placement I was being able to work in a new environment and developing new skills. Each morning, I travelled there by bus which picked us up in front of the school. On March 20th, I attended a motivational speaker event at the Crann Centre in Ovens and gained valuable insights from the speakers about their experiences. I had the pleasure of meeting the Minister of Finance who shared his life story with us. On the second day, I returned to the Crann Centre for a mock interview on Boulder formats. On the third day, I received barista training in Model Farm Road and learned how to make coffee. Finally, on the last day, we went to Striker in Carrigtohill and listened to workers from Striker Limerick and Irish rugby players.
