Time management is also an essential tool because schedules will not always align. Collaboration also involves understanding each student's needs and formulating a plan for how the classroom will be run as a team and not just as an individual.

At the end of the day, it is about setting the students up for success, and the only way that this can happen is if all parties involved are working together and not against each other.

Flexibility and Adaptability

As we all know, not everything will always go according to plan. It is important to be able to adapt to any unforeseen situation as a team. If clear communication and a steady stream of positive teamwork have been established, then when something goes awry(and it most certainly will), the team will be able to figure it out together with little to no problem. Successful Collaboration is not easy but with the right framework and a plan, everyone can tackle any situation that comes up with confidence.

Building Trust with Students

Relationships are the most important aspect of building a thriving classroom environment in education. This starts with earning the trust of the students. It will take time and some ups and downs, but ultimately, it is the most rewarding aspect of being a teacher. The students also need to see how the co-teachers collaborate so that they can understand that the classroom is one big team and everyone is there to support each other. It certainly starts with the teachers, but establishing that relationship with students is equally critical.

Classroom Management

Co-teachers must be unified in their approach to classroom management. The students must see a united front each day. There should never be a question of who is the disciplinarian and who is not. It should be an equal partnership where there is consistency and efficiency. This can be a difficult task, especially if the teachers have different views on classroom management, but ultimately, it is about doing what is best for the students. Collaboration may sometimes be a difficult process, but can also be a rewarding process where everyone comes out a winner,
